Rihanna has taken on the iconic role as Marion Crane, a woman who is having an affair with a married man who checks in to the Bates Motel but *spoiler alert* will not be checking out.

It was announced at last year’s Comic Con that she would be taking on the role that was previously played by the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, in the original “Psycho” movie in 1960. The singer suspended her world tour for a week just to film the scenes.
Fans of the movie and the series are waiting for the famous shower scene that “Psycho” is known for and since we are half way through the final season, the scene should be soon.

Rihanna was said by the producers to have a very strong work ethic and was fully committed to bringing real and raw emotions to her role. These “Bates Motel” episodes gave us a taste of how the singer has improved her acting since having a role in the movie “Battleship” and gets us ready to see her in the new “Oceans 8” movie.
