Snapchat Messages Not Sending – Why? Won’t Let Me Send

If your Snapchat messages aren’t sending you’re not alone.  I haven’t been able to answer any of my Snaps for the last few hours.  Snapchat announced that they are aware of the issue and they are working hard to fix it.  You can try to reset your phone but that probably won’t fix the problem.  I reset my phone multiple times and the app still won’t let me send messages.

Snapchat is currently dealing with numerous issues.  The company recently partnered with artist, Jeff Koons, to introduce their augmented reality art feature.  A company has mocked-up a vandalized version of Koons’ Balloon Dog.

In the Instagram post below, Sebastian Erraquriz explains that companies shouldn’t be allowed to place content in our digital public space.

Should corporations be allowed to place what ever content they choose over our digital public space? Central Park belongs to the city of NY. Why should corporations get to geo-tag its gps coordinates for free? We know they will make money renting gps spots to brands and bombard us with advertisement. Snapchat has its hands full.  From common messaging problems to unique issues with augmented reality.  Innovation will be the key to the company’s success.  What will they do to ensure the app’s messaging feature is more sustainable while implementing new options like AR?
