Why did they kill Glenn in The Walking Dead?
On the season 7 premiere, Negan kills Glenn and Maggie loses the love of her life. At the end of the episode Greene tells everyone to go home. She wants revenge. In the comic, Maggie leaves Alexandria after Glenn dies. She has difficulties dealing with the pain and decides to move to The Hilltop.

The Hilltop is a smart move because it’s the largest known survivor community. It’s the only place where she’ll be able to be monitored by a doctor. The only other doctor is with Negan.
Maggie’s life will never be the same now that Glenn is gone. Losing Glenn forces her to be independent and strong. She has lost everyone she loves and will be forced to be The Hilltop’s leader.
Maggie will teach us that life is full of pain but that’s not a reason to give up!
