Rhyon Nicole Brown plays Maya on Empire.  She was recently promoted to a series regular while A.Z. Kelsey and Katlynn Simone were given recurring roles on season 5 of the Fox series. Brown appeared in season 4 of the series as Maya, Poundcake’s daughter.  Cookie was able to introduce Maya to Poundcake before Poundcake passed away.…
