Tweets from the finale of Empire were viewed over 112 million times by nearly 6 million people.  The cast of Empire often live-tweets as episodes air, engaging viewers as they watch the show.

Cookie’s use of social media was amazing throughout the first season of Empire.  Taraji P. On the day of the show’s finale Jussie Smollett went from 54K to 204K followers and his tweets were seen over 6 million times.  Trai Byers had 245 followers when the first season aired.  The actor who plays Andre Lyon now has 131K followers.
