Tiffany Thompson, Ezekiel Elliott’s girlfriend, sent the NFL player a message that stated “You are a black male athlete. I’m a white girl. They are not going to believe you.” It’s difficult to be mad about the statement because she was telling the truth. NFL players are seen as dangerous people who are unable to control their anger.
In the video at the end of this article, Steven A. Smith questions the timing of Ezekiel’s suspension. The NFL has been aware of the allegations against Elliott for more than a year. If they were planning on suspending Ezekiel they should have done so as soon as he was charged. He proved that he was innocent and then the NFL decided to suspend him. That doesn’t make any sense.

Elliott’s father, Stacy, has been tweeting about the situation. Stacy revealed that Thompson made several comments about Elliott’s career. She wasn’t allowed in a party because of Ezekiel so she told him that she would end his career before calling the police.

The evidence seems like more than enough to prove Elliott’s innocence but that doesn’t matter. The NFL player has already proven his innocence. This is double jeopardy. Elliott is being charged for the same crime twice. This situation is beyond the NFL’s scope and they should have to pay serious consequences for getting involved.
