Kellyanne Conway Couch Meme

Trump advisor and alternative facts purveyor Kellyanne Conway was in the Oval Office when President Trump hosted academic leaders from historical black colleges. Look at the her.  Her feet are on the sofa. This is the Oval Office! This isn’t some couch in a frat house! Who puts their feet up on someone else’s couch? It’s not polite to say the least.

The second aspect would be she is pre-occupied with her phone. It ruins the mood of the photo in a 

way. You have all these distinguished African American leaders from academia. Yet, in the photo and off to the left side is Ms. Conway playing Angry Birds or checking her email or whatever she was doing. It shows a flippant disregard for the black community on behalf of one of Trump’s key advisors.

The black community did not vote for Trump. However, Trump has been doing extensive outreach to the black community. Consider, when he went into inner cities and asked minorities to vote for him saying “what the hell do you have to lose?” and telling them to consider that they have been voting Democrat for years and it hasn’t added to their social mobility. 

Time will tell if Conway is still working in the White House in a few years.
