Tyga left Cash Money Records after dissing Drake and claiming that Bryan “Birdman” Williams didn’t pay him. Kanye produced Tyga’s 2015 project “The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty” and the two rappers will be collaborating on additional material in the very near future.
Complex reports that Kanye West has signed Tyga. As you know, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian are sisters and Kanye is married to Kim while Tyga has been dating Kylie. Despite their connection the rappers have made it clear that the new contract has nothing to do with Kim nor Kylie. The two rappers have been working together for years.
According to Hot New Hip Hop Migos also signed to the G.O.O.D. Music family. Kanye is adding to his deep roster. The label is already loaded with talent. John Legend, Big Sean and Pusha T are some of G.O.O.D. Music’s most popular artists. Kanye introduced Teyana Taylor via his “Fade” video reminding us that she’s signed to the label.

Kanye also landed rapper, Desiigner, after a bidding war between numerous record labels. It’s great to see that the Birdman is enabling artists to sign new deals. In an interview with Angie Martinez, Birdman explains that Tyga was actually a Young Money artist yet everyone blamed him when he revealed that he was unhappy with his contract.
Patience will be the key to Tyga’s success. Although he has already released a new single with Desiigner, “Gucci Snakes” Kanye is not the type of executive to release music before it’s ready. The rapper released Yeezus in 2013 and then took three years off before releasing his 2016 album The Life of Pablo.
