| Tyra Banks New Host Of AGT |
On March 12th, Howie Mandel announced tha6t supermodel-mogul Tyra Banks will become the next host on hit show “America’s Got Talent.” Mandel, who is one of the show’s top judges announced via Twitter that Banks will be replacing Nick Cannon after he quit back in February 2017. “Please welcome @TyraBanks to the @NBCAGT family! She’s our new host. #TyraBanks #AGT,” he wrote. As the network previously revealed, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie will be returning as judges.
There have been tons of people that were being considered for the hosting spot. “But for all the Joey Fatone‘s and Nick Lachey‘s that are options, they are also considering a complete no name to join the show but the one thing that is gaining the most steam is that they’d like to have a female replacement and really mix it up.”
America’s Got Talent even showed interest in comedian-actor Marlon Wayans but it was reported that he wanted too much money the show was willing to pay for. He was their first choice because of his former hosting experience on the show and his huge fan following.
Tyra Banks has hosted and executed produced America’s Next Top Model for 22 cycles so she has plenty of experience!
