Jessica stayed in McIntyre to finish school
Jessica didn’t move to Hampton, Georgia with Mama June and the rest of her family. “Chubbs” was focused on school and wanted to graduate with her friends. Mama June let her stay because she only had 3 months left until she earned her high school diploma. The following pic shows Jessica with her diploma!

Jessica is studying nursing at South Georgia State College
Jessica was the first member of Honey Boo Boo’s family to earn her high school diploma. She didn’t stop there. She’s currently studying nursing at South Georgia State College. She’s setting a great example, inspiring her family to strive for more. All three of her sisters watched her walk across the stage!
Jessica’s father is a convicted sex offender
Mama June revealed that Jessica’s father is Michael Anthony Ford, a convicted sex offender. Mama June was also in a relationship with Mark Anthony McDaniel, another convicted sex offender. June’s daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, says she was molested when she was 8-years-old. We’re not sure why Mama June is attracted to convicted sex offenders.
