The time has come: Empire Season 2’s hiatus. That means there won’t be new episodes of the hit TV series on Fox until March. You got that right. Next spring. Three months. That seems so far away. Earlier this year, Empire‘s first season had become a huge hit and wrapped by the time March 2015 rolled around. But alas, this is something we must endure.

Plus, there’s lots of things we can all do to get us through this trying time. Here are my suggestions:
- Rewatch Seasons 1 and 2.
- Make an Empire playlist of your favorite songs (if you don’t already) and play them on repeat.
- Figure out when Mariah Carey will finally guest star (she’s supposed to this season) and figure out who she might play.
- Rewatch Hustle & Flow, the first movie Taraji P. Henson & Terrence Howard starred in together in 2005.
- Shop the Saks Fifth Avenue Empire collection.
- Paint your nails in Empire nail colors.
- Read Empire: The Unauthorized Untold Story, a book by Robert Ham.
- Read over Cookie Lyon’s best quotes over and over.
- Watch Terrence Howard’s other show Wayward Pines.
- Listen to Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray‘s music before Empire on YouTube (lots of videos exist).
- Set up a Google Alert for “Empire spoilers.”
- Follow the entire cast on Instagram and Twitter.
- Listen to and get emotionally involved in the new Adele album 25.
- Watch…gasp…another TV shows.
