Ryan Michelle Bathe plays Celeste on Empire. Bathe has appeared in numerous TV shows including Girlfriends, ER and How I Met Your Mother. In 2014 she appeared in Kevin Hart’s sitcom Keep It Together. The talented actress played Mandy, the lead female role yet the series never aired.

Celeste is Eddie’s (Forest Whitaker) second wife. In the video at the end of this article, Lucious interrupts Celeste while she’s playing tennis. Lucious wants information about Eddie’s intentions but Celeste refuses to speak up.
In episode 13 of Empire‘s fourth season, “Hardiness Is Mother” we’ll see Andre and Lucious work together to try to get rid of Eddie. In episode 14, “False Face”, Lucious and Thirsty threaten to sue Eddie. Celeste is money hungry and will most likely stay loyal to Eddie.

Ryan Michelle Bathe Is Married To Her College Sweetheart Sterling K. Brown
In 2007, Ryan married actor, Sterling K. Brown. The couple fell in love at Stanford University. They lived in the same freshman dorm and they were both born in St. Louis, Missouri.
The couple has two adorable sons. Sterling is best known for his role as Randall Pearson on This Is Us. Ryan played Yvette in the first season of the series.
