Nicole Ari Parker will play Giselle in episode 4 of Empire‘s fourth season, “Slave To Memory.” Nicole appears to have a relationship with Forest Whitaker’s character Eddie Barker. The last time we saw Uncle Eddie, he was overworking Empire Entertainment’s employees. Porsha and the rest of the company’s employees went on strike and Cookie had to fix Eddie’s mess.
The episode summary explains that Eddie is concluding his tenure at Empire. Now that Lucious is back, the company no longer needs Eddie’s help. Eddie seems honest but you can’t trust anyone on Empire. He’s a part of Lucious’ old crew and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s plotting on the Lyons.

Nicole Ari Parker was born on October 7, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. When she was in high school, she was named Maryland’s best actress. After high school, Nicole joined The Washington Ballet. In 1993, Nicole graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating, she landed numerous minor roles but her breakthrough role came in 2000 when she played Teri Joseph on the Soul Food television series.

In 2005, Nicole married actor Boris Kodjoe and they’ve been #RelationshipGoals ever since. Kodjoe also appeared in Soul Food. They have a daughter named Sophie and a son named Nicolas.
