Nia Long plays Giuliana aka “Giusi” on the Empire TV show. In episode 11 of season 3, “Play On” we’ll see Giusi take on Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson). Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie recently locked lips. She beat him with a bat and damaged multiple items at the Empire Entertainment building.
Cookie is feeling guilty about kissing Lucious
Cookie is in a relationship with Angelo (Taye Diggs) and she’s feeling guilty about kissing Lucious. Cookie is too real and doesn’t want to sell Angelo any dreams. Lucious is trying to ruin Angelo’s campaign. The ruthless music mogul held a press conference endorsing Angelo’s rival. Lucious is now shifting his focus to Giuliana.

What about Anika “Boo Boo Kitty” Calhoun Lyon?
At the end of Empire‘s “Sound and Fury” episode, Lucious names his wife, Anika (Grace Byers), the new head of A&R. Becky (Gabourey Sidibe) deserved the position but this is Lucious we’re talking about. He’s on a mission to break Cookie’s heart. How will Anika react to Giuliana? She’s married to Lucious but it’s not like they’re in love.
Anika has a baby with Hakeem. Lucious has played the child’s father figure and we would love to see that change.
