    Gennady Golovkin made headlines when he expressed his desire to fight Floyd Mayweather.  The British fighter has also chased fights against Manny Pacquiao and now he wants Canelo.

    Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin is a boxer from Kazakhstan.  The “Golden Boy” is the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO and WBC champion.  The “GGG” train keeps rolling.  He is undefeated, 35-0, including 32 knockouts.
    Yahoo reports that Canelo Alvarez fought Amir Khan but the chatter this week was about Golovkin.  The following video shows the talented boxer’s response to Canelo saying he does not deserve to fight him:
    The LA Times explains that Alvarez knocked Amir Khan out and then he called out Golovkin.  That’s right, Alvarez waved the “God of War” into the ring, explaining that he doesn’t fear anyone.  Canelo recently suggested that “GGG” doesn’t deserve him but he has clearly changed his mind.  The following video shows the amazing knockout:



    Sky Sports explains that Golovkin attended the Canelo v. Khan fight hoping to face the winner and it looks like his wish came true! The highlights below are simply amazing:

    The Huffington Post reports that the American media is making a mockery of the United Kingdom’s system of justice.  In the past, tabloid editors have argued that there’s no public interest justification yet Labour campaigners disagree.

    The most recent decision to impose an injunction on editors has angered tabloid bosses.  From 2009 to 2011 the super-injunction led to major debates about privacy and freedom of expression.  Gagging orders pose a threat to freedom and the country’s privacy laws must be reformed.
    Daily Mail reports that a man who had a threesome with a married celebrity father could be jailed for telling the truth.  He’s been gagged yet Twitter and Facebook users continue to discuss the man’s name freely.

    We should all be able to present our views freely.  There is nothing worst than being voiceless.  When we are unable to express ourselves we become uncomfortable and more stressed out.  Sharing the way we feel with the world can help us maintain healthy lives.  Our mental health benefits substantially from freely expressing ourselves.

    Who Is The New Mayor Of London 2016

    London has a new mayor: Sadiq Khan.  Standard reports that the capital turned red for the first time in eight years.  There was a delay in his official coronation due to minor discrepancies which election official have corrected.
    The United States is not the only place with racially charged elections.  Khan is London’s first Muslim mayor:
    RT News reports that he gained 57 percent of the vote defeating his Conservative Party opponent Zac Goldsmith.  Independent explains that London chose hope over fear and unity over division.

    Eight years ago, the people of the United States also chose hope over fear when we elected President Barack Obama.  The nation knew that President Obama was ready to lead the country to a brighter future and he was confident about his plans.
    David Brooks of The New York Times explains that he misses President Obama.  President Obama’s character traits are much different than the behavioral standards we are now witnessing.  Speaking of which, the following video shows Seth Meyers destroying Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner back in 2011:

  • Lauryn Hill Pittsburgh Performance Is Her First In 17 Years

    The Grammy Award-winning artist will perform in Pittsburgh at the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall in Munhall on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 8 PM.

    Celebrity injunctions have dominated the news in the UK.  In the US the identities of numerous cheating celebrities have been revealed but in the UK there are orders that protect their identities.

    We recently introduced you to the “Celebrity Love Cheat” aka Ryan Giggs.  This article will discuss the actor who slept with a prostitute.  
    Observer reports that Helen Wood broke the cardinal rule of prostitution by outing Downtown Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville.

    Let’s be clear: Cookie Lyon ain’t going no where!

    Can you believe that another Empire finale is right around the corner!? For those who don’t want the Season 2 finale spoiled, rest assured, this article provides analysis and a hypothesis.  We’ll take a look at who we think dies on the show’s 2016 finale.

    First, no one may die.  On the show’s most recent teaser it says “And One Lyon…Will Fall”.  Fall doesn’t necessarily mean die.  There’s obviously a shooting at the ASA Awards, as shown by the following video clip:

    There’s nothing like a good mother! This article discusses an element of the Empire TV show that fans may find confusing.  Two actresses have played Lucious’ mother on Empire: Kelly Rowland and Leslie Uggams.

    Leslie Uggams has played Leah Walker in the show’s most recent episodes.  While Cookie attempts to calm Lucious down about his mother, the show’s leading man knows better.

    The show continues to explore issues that are typically ignored in African American communities.  The show’s first season did so through Trai Byers’ character, Andre.  The show’s current season has provided a more complete look into the lives of individual’s with mental disorders.
    While many fans race to create memes involving some of the show’s intense content, it’s important for us to accept some of the lessons we are learning from Fox’s hip-hop series.  It may be difficult to admit it, but Cookie Lyon was mistaken when she suggested that certain conditions were “white people problems”.  
    The African American community must make seeing doctors and specialists on a regular basis a priority as too many common issues continue to be ignored.  It’s easy to put off our problems and most of the time we decide they need to be fixed when it’s too late! Do it today, because tomorrow is not promised!
