  • A Racist Georgia Couple Was Just Sentenced To 35- Years In Prison For Terrorizing A Black Child’s Birthday Party (VIDEO)

    We’re not sure what kind of monster you have to be to terrorize a child, especially at something as innocent and joyful as a birthday party, but a racist couple in Georgia is now playing dearly for what they did.

    On July 25, 2015, a Georgia couple, 26-year old, Jose Ismael Torres and 25-year old, Kayla Rae Norto who are both members of the white supremacist organization “Respect the Flag” decided it was a good idea to storm a Black child’s eighth birthday party. The couple along with about ten others waved Confederate flags, brandished shotguns and screamed obscenities including the N-word at the group of partygoers.

    After shouting, “kill y’all n*****s,” at the birthday party, the couple and their group drove to a nearby Wal-Mart where they continued to terrorize others. Yesterday, the couple who were the final two of fifteen to be charged with their hate crimes were sentenced to a total of 28 years in prison.

    Judge William McClain who presided over the case was clear in saying, “Their actions were motivated by racial hatred.”

    Torres was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 13 years served while Norto was sentenced to  15 years in prison with 6 years served.

    Douglas County District Attorney Brian Fortner released a statement after the sentencing saying, “Many people tried to make the case about simply flying the Confederate Battle Flag. his case was about a group of people riding around our community, drinking alcohol, harassing and intimidating our citizens because of the color of their skin.”

    During their sentencing, both Norto and Torres broke down weeping. Norto apologized for her actions saying, “I want you all to know that is not me. That is not me, that is not him. I would never walk up to you and say those words to you. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I am so sorry.”

    Hyesha Bryant, one of the women who was in attendance at the party, responded by saying, “What you said affected my life. It affected my children’s lives.”

    Ultimately, Bryant spoke to Norto mother to mother saying, “I forgive you, I forgive all of you.”
    Though this incident happened prior to Trump’s election, it’s clear already that the hateful rhetoric behind his campaign and administration is already sparking an uptick of racially motivated crimes.

  • Jordan Middleton, A 17 Year Old, Gunned Down Due To Misunderstanding

    Jordan Middleton, a 17 year old, was shot to death in a Columbia county South Carolina community.

    Jordan’s 14 year old girlfriend decided to sneak him into her house at about 2 in the morning to have sex. The girl’s father heard noises downstairs and thought it was an intruder. 
    According to a news release from the Columbia County Sheriffs Office, Derrick Fulton says he heard noise downstairs, got his handgun from a dresser, then went downstairs.

    The family dog’s barking led the homeowner to the guest bedroom.
    Fulton called out that he was armed and the intruder needed to identify themselves.
    When Middleton didn’t say anything, the dog kept barking and acting aggressively toward the guest bedroom.. Once again, the homeowner yelled a warning.
    As he entered the bedroom, Middleton ran out of the guest bedroom closet, and that’s when Fulton shot Middleton in the chest.
    This story raises several questions. Did the town know a 17 year old and a 14 year old were having sex with one another? Why didn’t he simply answer from the closet that he was a friend of his daughter?
    Guns and violence have been an issue that has emerged in American society during our recent era. Newtown, Columbine, Virginia Tech, and other shootings come to mind.

    TLC Final Studio Album

    It has been over two years since T-Boz and Chilli lauched their campaign on Kickstarter to fund the fifth and final TLC studio album. With the help of devoted fans and artists such as Katy Perry, the group surpassed their goal of $100,000 by raising over $430,000! 

    TLC is set to release their album this year “at the end of June” according to Bill Diggins on Kickstarter. “This album could not have happened without your support and your confidence in TLC has inspired us greatly to make the best album possible. We would have loved to have delivered this album sooner to you but we are confident that you will agree that it was worth the wait when you hear it. The pursuit of excellence is never an easy task and always takes longer than expected”, he said. 

    TLC Final Studio Album

    The last TLC project with all three members was called 3D which was released seven months after the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes on April 25th in 2002. The impending album will be the very first without Left Eye. 

    This is a bittersweet moment for the Crazy, Sexy and Cool family. The excitement is real for what T-Boz and Chilli are going to bring!

    they have been revealed, they won’t appear on the show until the four coaches’
    form their teams.

    Jared     reports for Team Adam, John Legend will be the celebrity guest
    mentor. Everyone loves John Legend and we all can’t wait to see him mentor the
    singers.

    the celebrity mentor is none other than the great Celine Dion. Wow! Who can’t
    wait to see Celine mentor the singers?

  • Kerrin Randolph Gets Dragged by Cops

    In New York, MTA police arrested a disabled man in New York City’s Grand Central Station. Kerrin Randolph, the man in question, was simply charging his wheel chair. Kerrin Randolph claims the officers wrote him a ticket for committing “theft of services” before cuffing him and standing him up.
    Randolph says that one of the cops said “You can walk”. Randolph fell to the ground. This led to an MTA police officer grabbing him by the handcuffs and literally dragging him across the floor. Randolph suffered numerous injuries at the hands of the MTA police.
    An article in the New York Daily News stated that the MTA did not comment on pending litigation. A civil rights lawsuit was filed against the MTA police on behalf of Randolph. The reality is that he suffered numerous injuries while in their custody including falling on his face because he was not secure in his wheel chair. He was taken to a local medical hospital to care for his injuries.
    Police brutality is still a tough issue in this country. Ferguson, Eric Garner and other police brutality events immediately come to mind. Ultimately, we as a society will see if anything truly changes from this incident.

    Remy Ma Talks About Her Unborn Child

    The Reunion episode of Love and Hip Hop featured Remy Ma talking about an intensely personal subject. She discussed the loss of her unborn child due to complications during her pregnancy. Remy stated that she feels cheated out of being able to bond with her baby. Remy assured her fans that there is nothing wrong with her female body. However, she mentioned that she might have to have a special medical procedure done to ensure a healthy and successful pregnancy.

    Remy Ma had a memorable line during the reunion show: “If you wouldn’t do it when your girl is there, don’t do it when she’s not there”

    She also had another strong line during the show: If my man could be taken so easily, he wasn’t my man to begin with- Remy Ma

    Remy Ma also memorably rolled her eyes during the in show proposal. One could infer from Remy rolling her eyes that she feels that marriage won’t last very long in the big scheme of things.

    Remy Ma has been going through a very bad patch lately with her failed pregnancy, kmart dumping her, and engaging in a battle with Nicki Minaj. We shall see what the future holds for Remy.

  • Yandy Smith Caught in Multiple Lies in “Love and Hip-Hop: New York” Reunion

    Love and Hip-Hop New York reunion show erupted into pure chaos and it only took ten minutes into the episode for Yandy Smith to be exposed. In a fight that broke out including two audience members and Mendeeces’ first baby’s mother, Samantha, Yandy claimed to not know what happened or who was involved. However, producers shut that down right away when it was revealed that the audience members who attacked Samantha were related to Yandy.

    As the conversation went on we learned that when Yandy claimed just a few episodes ago that she had “no idea” that her best friend Kimbella showed up at the kids birthday party she was lying once more.

    The producers pulled out receipts of a conversation that Yandy and Kimbella had right before she stepped foot in the party where Kimbella tells Judy that she can’t get Yandy on the phone. Yandy then comes to the phone and has a few words with Kimbella. Although both in the season and on this episode of the reunion Yandy says she didn’t know that Kimbella even showed up at the party, we now know that Yandy and Kimbella did speak before things went left.

    This comes after the world, along with the “bitter baby mama club” Samantha Wallace and Erica Deshazo, found out that Yandy Smith and Mendeeces Harris aren’t legally married. That situation was also addressed when host Nina Parker asked if the two were married in the eyes of the law. Yandy responded yes but went on to say that a piece of paper can’t say that she doesn’t love Mendeecees. So, technically, no they still don’t seem to be legally married.

    throughout the year, there is one thing on everyone’s mind besides talking
    about who is winning what. What is that one thing? The way the stars are dressed
    and how their hair looks.
    This is why everyone
    was ready to tweet what they thought of Justin
    Timberlake’s hair     last night as soon as they saw him with his new haircut. Everyone
    already knows about the phases of looks the singer has been through since his
    days with the boy band, NSYNC. He had
    that cute curly hairstyle back then. But what did you think about the haircut
    he came with last night?

    Many people had some
    things to say about it when they saw it. Many people did not like his newhaircut. Before he came on stage to perform his new song, the song from his new
    movie, ‘Trolls,’ he walked the red carpet with actress and wife, Jessica Biel.
    While everyone loved how Biel looked in a stunning head-to-toe gold dress, most
    people didn’t like Timberlake’s new haircut.

    Do you remember Rachel Dolezal? You know, the woman who was born white, passed herself off as black, and made her way to one of the highest positions in the NAACP. Well The Guardian caught up with her and the self proclaimed trans-black woman isn’t doing so well.

    Once the famous interview that outed her for posing as a black woman was released, not only was she the subject of public ridicule but she eventually lost what seems close to everything. Dolezal had to resign from her position at the NAACP, lost her newspaper column, and fired by the university she worked for.

    Rachel claims that not only is she out of work and feeding her family with food stamps, but she’s also on the verge of homelessness. The 39-year-old mother explained that she’s been looking for any work that she can take but they won’t even hire her to stock groceries, She’s often the victim of pointing, laughing, and name-calling. Despite a name change, she’s recognized wherever she goes.

    With the help of a good friend, Dolezal was able to pay her rent this month but expects to be homeless by next month. The former civil rights activists says the only job offer that she’s been getting were offers for reality TV or porn. Rachel Dolezal has a memoir that was turned down by 30 publishers before one finally accepted. It is ironically called In Full Color and tells of her upbringing and race identity crisis.

    Hopefully the book sells and she’s able to pay her bills.
