    Snapchat – Best Friends Coming Back?

    Snapchat is not bringing back the best friends feature.  The feature causes too many problems now that businesses and celebrities love Snapchat.  Dishonest users aka cheaters also complained about the feature ruining their relationships.  Snapchat is no longer the private app it used to be and bringing back the best friends feature would make things worse.

    Snapchat is getting a facelift

    Snapchat isn’t bringing back the best friends feature but the company is redesigning the app.  There are still tons of people that complain about Snapchat being too difficult to use.  That’s why it appeals to younger users.  The company is now public and trying to make investors happy so they’re redesigning it to attract more users.

    The tweet above is from 2015.  As you know, the company broke that promise and we’ll most likely never see the best friend feature again.

    Snapchat’s Chief Executive, Evan Spiegel recently made a new promise, explaining that the company would implement a redesign to make it easier for users to discover content.  He admits that the redesign will disrupt short-term business but the company is willing to take the risk for potential long-term benefits.

    As Snapchat looks to increase earnings, the company is ignoring its core users and that will hurt them in the long run.  The users who fell in love with Snapchat are younger and are not complaining about the app being difficult to use.  Instead, younger users want the company to bring back features like best friends but Snapchat is ignoring their wishes.

    Snapchat should look to acquire another company to expand its reach.  If too many changes are made, the company will lose its core group of loyal users.  Should Snapchat look to merge with LinkedIn?

  • LiAngelo Ball – Louis Vuitton, Arrested In China, Mugshot

    LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were arrested in China for stealing from a Louis Vuitton store.  LiAngelo is LaVar Ball’s middle son.  Yahoo Sports explains that the three UCLA freshman basketball players could face between 3 and 10 years in prison if convicted.  LaVar has been making headlines regarding Lonzo’s NBA career but now he’ll have to focus on LiAngelo.

    LiAngelo Ball made his college basketball debut on November 1, 2017 in an exhibition game against Cal State Los Angeles.  It will be very interesting to see LaVar’s response to this situation.  He never hesitates to speak his mind, no matter how ridiculous he sounds.  LaVar’s other sons, Lonzo and LaMelo are more talented than LiAngelo and this incident will ruin LiAngelo’s confidence.

    The tweet below explains that the incident is a publicity stunt for season 2 of the Ball family’s reality series, Ball In The Family.  While that may seem far-fetched, LaVar Ball loves attention and he’ll most likely find a way to capitalize from this incident.

    LaVar’s parenting style has been heavily criticized and this is where it becomes a burden.  The Ball brothers wouldn’t be getting so much attention if it wasn’t for LaVar’s personality.  Every time Lonzo has a bad game, media outlets are hard on him because his father brags about him so much.

    Earlier this year, LaVar bought LiAngelo a Ferrari.  Why would you steal from a Louis Vuitton store when you own a Ferrari and your older brother makes millions as a NBA player? Lonzo is in the NBA and the family launched Big Baller Brand but it’s too early to be buying Ferraris.  What is Lonzo gets injured and LaVar’s other sons don’t make it to the NBA?

    Rapper and singer James R. appeared in the second episode of Love and Hip Hop New York season 8, “Rubbing The Wrong Way.” MariahLynn is happy to be in a relationship with him and he’s all about helping her succeed in the music industry.  James doesn’t think DJ Self has what it takes to make MariahLynn a star.

  • Why Is Meek Mill In Jail? – Prison Sentence?

    Meek Mill is in jail for violating his probation.  The Philadelphia rapper was sentenced to two to four years in prison.  He was put on probation for a 2008 drug and weapons charge.  In 2008, the rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams was convicted of drug dealing and gun possession.  In May of 2017, Meek violated his probation by getting into a fight with two people at an airport in St. Louis.

    Judge Genece Brinkley says Meek Mill just “does what he wants”

    Judge Genece Brinkley also cited Meek’s 2017 reckless driving arrest in New York City, explaining that she has been trying to work with the rapper since 2009 but he just “does what he wants.” The rapper also failed a drug test and travelled without approval.  He was immediately taken into custody.

    One of Meek Mill’s attorneys, Joe Tacopina, claims that the judge has a vendetta against the rapper.  Meek’s prison sentence was surprising because the prosecutor recommended no jail time.  The judge explained that the prosecutor is new to the case to understand that Meek thinks he’s above the law.

    Tacopina reveals that in 2016, Judge Brinkley suggested for Meek to record a remix to Boyz II Men’s song “On Bended Knee.” The judge told Meek to mention her in the song but the rapper refused and the judge responded, “Okay, suit yourself.”

    Jay Z calls sentence “unjust and heavy handed”

    Jay Z has been a fan of Meek Mill for a very long time.  Earlier this year, Kanye West called Jay Z out for making it difficult for him to work with Drake because of Drake’s beef with Meek.  
    Jay doesn’t share too many social media updates but after hearing about Meek’s sentence, Jay posted a note on Facebook explaining that the sentence was heavy handed and went against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer.

  • Is Snapchat Being Deleted? 2017 App Down – Discontinued?

    The rumor that Snapchat is being deleted is false.  The company is working hard to fix the app.  Throughout 2017, Snapchat has been one of the most downloaded apps in the App Store so you don’t have to worry about it being discontinued anytime soon.  Apps like Vine, declined in popularity and then it still took years before it was discontinued.

    Blame it on Mark Zuckerberg

    Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg recently announced that Instagram and WhatsApp both have 300 million daily active users.  Snapchat has 173 million daily active users.  While Snapchat’s technical difficulties may not seem serious, Facebook’s catalog of apps will leverage Snapchat’s issues.

    When Snapchat is down and you need your social media fix, you’re most likely turning to a social media app owned by Facebook.  The company recently acquired TBH and they continue to make improvements to Instagram and Messenger.
    When one of Facebook’s apps is down, you may turn to Snapchat but there’s also a chance you’ll use a different app owned by Facebook.  Snapchat is too you to be experiencing serious technical issues and Facebook is too powerful.  Snapchat should reconsider selling to Facebook although the FTC could block the transaction.  Facebook is a social media monopoly that doesn’t need anymore money.

    Snapchat is winning the AR race

    Snapchat is doing one thing better than Facebook: Augmented reality.  The company is much better than its competitors when it comes to bringing visuals to life, like its dancing hotdog and Actionmojis.  If Snapchat continues to develop and improve its augmented reality experience, the company will remain relevant in a social media world ruled by Facebook.
    Snapchat must continue to play its strengths.  Google gave up on social media but the company’s search engine gets better and better everyday.

    MariahLynn’s new boyfriend, James R. is a talented singer and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York.  In episode 2 of Love and Hip Hop New York season 8, “Rubbed The Wrong Way” we’ll see James start some drama with DJ Self.  MariahLynn is signed to Self’s record label, Gwinin Entertainment and James isn’t feeling that.

    In Love and Hip Hop New York‘s season 8 super trailer, at the end of this article, we see James give MariahLynn a diamond necklace and tell her, “It’s forever.” We then see James ask DJ Self if he’s smashing Mariah and Mariah isn’t feeling that.  MariahLynn tells James that he has to respect DJ Self.

    James R. is a businessman.  He’s not only a model and singer, he also has his own clothing line, King of Hearts.  Him and DJ Self are both ultimate hustlers, making it difficult for them to co-exists.  Mariah has a difficult decision to make.  Self has been around for a while but she can’t just get rid of her new bae.

  • Crystal, Karla And Bryan Holcombe – Sutherland Springs Victims

    Crystal Holcombe was eight months pregnant when she was murdered by Devin Kelley at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs in Texas.  Authorities are still searching for a motive for the shooting.  Kelley murdered 26 people in the shooting.  The ages of the victims range from 5 to 72.  Crystal and three of her kids were murdered.

    The image below shows the Holcombe family.  Crystal’s husband, John, survived the attack and their two other children were wounded.  Crystal’s cousin, Nick Uhlig, explained that she was a great mother who was old-fashion.  She made homemade cheese and raised goats.

    Devin Kelley was an ex-Bible studies teacher

    Devin Kelley’s LinkedIn page shows that he volunteered at Kingsville First Baptist Church where he was a Bible studies teacher.  Kelley’s Facebook reveals that he liked multiple pages devoted to atheism.  How does an ex-Bible studies teacher become an atheist?

    Many atheist simply stop believing in religious teachings.  Kelley could have lost faith in God in 2014 when he was dishonorably discharged from the army.  A dishonorable discharge is applied to the most serious crimes.

    Dishonorable discharges are usually rendered for serious offenses including sexual assault and murder.  In 2012, Kelley assaulted his wife and child.  Many believe that Kelley shouldn’t have been allowed to own a weapon after being dishonorably discharged from the army.

    When a dishonorable discharge is based on a court-martial conviction, the convicted felon is banned from owning a firearm.  Even if Kelley’s wife purchased the gun, he would have been guilty of constructive possession.

  • Annabelle Pomeroy – Texas Church Shooting Victims

    Annabelle Pomeroy is the 14-year-old girl who was shot and killed by Devin Kelley at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs.  She is the daughter of Pastor Frank Pomeroy and Sherri Newman Pomeroy.  Frank and Sherri were on their way back from Oklahoma when their daughter was murdered.

    Soft targets remain vulnerable to attack

    The mass shootings in Las Vegas and Sutherland Springs prove that soft targets, places that are unprotected, remain vulnerable to attacks.  The most dangerous attack was once one that was planned by an organization and carried out by multiple individuals.  Now, lone wolfs have realized that places like churches are easy targets.

    It usually takes police more time to respond to attacks on soft targets.  Sutherland Springs is a small town with minimal police presence.  Places like Washington, D.C. have a strong security presence, making a mass shooting less likely.

    Major cities are constantly looking for ways to make it safer for pedestrians while criminals are shifting their focus to easier targets.  It took multiple airplanes and years of planning for terrorists to carry out the 9/11 attacks.  Since then, criminals are less patient and crave instant results.

    How does a person that is not radicalized do something this evil? Devin Patrick Kelley was wearing all black and carry a military assault rifle.  If local resident, Stephen Willeford, wouldn’t have shot him, Kelley may have murdered more people.

    While places like agency headquarters and monuments are safe, Devin Kelly had numerous soft targets to pick from.  Bars, schools and churches are vulnerable soft targets that must be secured.  Mass shootings are becoming a regular news story as innocent people continue to be murdered.

  • Joann And Brooke Ward – Victims Of Texas Church Shooting

    Joann Ward and her daughter, Emily Garza and Brooke Ward were 3 of the 26 victims of the the mass shooting at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs.  Joann was 30 while Emily was 7 and Brooke was 5.  Joann’s son, Ryland Ward, was also shot by Devin Kelley.  Ryland is 5-years-old and was shot 4 times.

    Deadliest Church Shooting In Texas History

    The death toll may rise but it’s already the deadliest shooting at a place of worship in modern U.S. history.  About a month ago, the nation was dealing with the Las Vegas shooting, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.  58 people were killed while more than 500 people were injured.  Will these tragedies ever stop?

    The following tweet explains that the president is calling the incident a mental health problem instead of a gun problem.  Donald Trump has made his support of the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms, very clear.

    One of President Trump’s criteria for appointing a Supreme Court Judge is the individual’s support of the Second Amendment.  He appointed Neil Gorsuch who has shown that he’s more intolerant of gun regulation than Antonin Scalia.

    Trump has kept his promises to law-abiding gun owners but now his back is up against the wall.  Two of the nation’s deadliest shootings have occurred within about a month of each other and innocent children have lost their lives.

    Trump has called the nation’s mental health issues a crisis and he’s blaming the shooting on Devin Kelley’s mental illness.  Are these mass shootings occurring because of the nation’s gun laws or is it the nation’s mental health crisis? There’s no right answer because it’s both.

  • Emily Garza – Devin Kelley Victims

    Emily Garza was one of the victims of Devin Kelley’s Sutherland Springs, Texas church shooting.  She was 7-years-old and was just getting back from Sunday school.  Garza was sitting in the back row of the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs when Devin Kelley opened fire.  26 people were killed 20 people were injured.

    In 2014, Devin Kelley was discharged from the U.S. Air Force

    From 2010 to 2014, Kelley was a member of the U.S. Air Force.  In 2014, he was discharged after assaulting his wife and child.  On Monday, from Tokyo, President Donald Trump shared his belief that the shooting was caused by a mental health problem.  He called Kelley a very deranged individual and avoided blaming the incident on the nation’s lack of gun control.  Will these mass shootings ever stop?

    Men chase down Devin Kelley

    Johnnie Langendorff is being called a hero.  Him and an armed Sutherland Springs resident chased Devin Kelley as he left the church, preventing him from potentially shooting more people.  Kelly was later found dead in his vehicle.  The tweet below explains that mass shootings continue to occur on a consistent basis.  Will anything be done to prevent them?

    The following tweet explains that President Trump did not call the shooting a gun issue.  Earlier this year, President Trump signed a bill that rolled back an Obama regulation that made it more difficult for people with mental illnesses to buy a gun.

    Trump promised to revisit gun control after the deadly shooting in Las Vegas.  How many mass shootings will it take before changes are made? While some believe stricter gun laws must be passed, others argue that if the Sutherland Springs neighborhood who helped stop Kelley didn’t have a gun, Kelley would have killed more people.
