    Lee Sutton, Rena Kiser – My 600 lb Life New Season – 6

    In the first episode of My 600 lb Life season 6 we’ll meet Lee Sutton and Rena Kiser.  The couple met while they were both patients at a bariatric rehab center.  Bariatrics is a branch of medicine used to control obesity.  When the clinic saw that Lee and Rena were getting close, they told them that they weren’t allowed to be together while they were at the facility.



    Lee and Rena decided to leave the bariatric rehab center because they were falling in love.  Sadly, once they left the facility, they both continued to gain weight.  The couple admits that their favorite thing to do is eat.  Partners tend to pick up each other’s bad habits including eating unhealthy foods and skipping the gym.

    Lee attended Houston High School in Houston, Missouri.  He has also lived in Vanceburg, Kentucky.  Rena graduated from Malabar Middle School in Mansfield, Ohio in 1990.  She previously lived in Garrison, Kentucky.

    Like many of the people we’ve seen on My 600 lb Life, Lee is unable to leave his bed without help.  Rena helps Lee but she’s also overweight so she can’t continue to help him.  Lee and Rena travel from Missouri to Houston for Dr. Nowzaradan’s help.  They are hoping to be approved for gastric bypass surgery so they can live normal lives and enjoy their relationship.

    My 600 lb Life returns on Wednesday, January 10, 2017 at 8/7 c.

    In the Facebook post below, Lee explains that his Chevrolet Suburban was seen on the Assanti brothers episode of My 600 lb Life.  Hopefully Lee isn’t anything like Steven Assanti.  The brothers recently appeared on My 600 lb Life: Where Are They Now? and Steven is addicted to Vicodin.

    Lady Of Rage – Hospitalized, Sick?

    Pray for The Lady of Rage.  The rapper, whose real name is Robin Yvette Allen, recently thanked her fans for the love and support.  She explained that she didn’t know how many people cared about her well-being.  Lady of Rage was surprised by all the phone calls and well wishes she received.  I still listen to her 1994 hit song “Afro Puffs” from Above The Rim.

    The Instagram post below shows Lady of Rage with Yolanda Whitaker, better known by her stage name, Yo Yo.  Whitaker appeared on Ice Cube’s debut album, AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted.  Lady of Rage played Baby D in Ice Cube’s 2000 film, Next Friday.

    Last year, Lady of Rage teamed up with MC Eiht on “Heart Cold.” The track was featured on MC Eiht’s album Which Way Iz West.

    The Lady of Rage was born on June 11, 1968 and is currently 49-years-old.  She worked with numerous West Coast rappers throughout her career but she was born in Farmville, Virginia.  In 1988, Shahkim aka Black Rushn convinced Lady of Rage to join his group, the Outlaw Brothers.

    A few years after joining the Outlaw Brothers, Dr. Dre discovered Rage and they collaborated on numerous Death Row tracks.  In 1994, Lady of Rage released her hit song “Afro Puffs.”

    Angel Parrish – My 600 lb Life Update – 2018

    Angel Parrish is one of the few My 600 lb Life success stories.  She initially weighed 570 pounds and now she’s about 230 pounds.  Angel and her boyfriend, Donnie, moved from Kerrville, Texas to Houston so they could be closer to Dr. Nowzaradan.  They have been together for more than 14 years.  Donnie no longer has to help Angel complete simple tasks like using the bathroom.

    Angel decided to go to Dr. Younan Nowzaradan because she was missing out on her son, Andrew’s life.  Prior to her surgery, Angel relied on Andrew and Donnie to help her with everything.  Donnie would cook for her and bring her multiple meals throughout the day.

    ER doctors insert tubes into Angel’s stomach

    After her initial gastric surgery, Parrish started experiencing nausea so Donnie takes her to the hospital.  Dr. Now advised Angel to contact him if she started feeling sick.  Her and Donnie ignore Dr. Now’s advice and they go to the hospital where doctors insert a feeding tube and two drainage tubes into her stomach because they thought she was malnourished.

    Dr. Now warns Angel that she could die if she doesn’t start following his instructions.  My 600 lb Life teaches us the importance of discipline and self-control.  Parrish nearly died because she didn’t listen to a simple instruction from Dr. Now.

    When Angel was young, she was thin.  She started gaining weight when she was 14-years-old after her mother forced her to give her daughter up for adoption.  The tweet below explains that Angel should appear on TLC’s Long Lost Family series.  The show presents the stories of people who have been separated from their family members and want to be reunited with them.

    Angel gave birth to her son, Andrew when she was 20.  At the time, she weighed about 300 pounds.  Five years later, Angel’s father passed away after they had a heated argument.  Angel’s guilt caused her to gain more than 200 pounds.

    My 600 lb Life: Where Are They Now

    Steven and Justin Assanti were seen on My 600 lb Life: Where Are They Now.  Each time people are see the brother on TV they search “Steven Assanti obituary” because they’re convinced that he’ll be dead soon.  Steven is addicted to Vicodin and he still hasn’t been approved for gastric bypass surgery.

    Dr. Nowzaradan has lost his patience with Steven.  Dr. Now threatens to get Steven arrested for abusing pain medication.  The doctor approved Steven for gastric sleeve surgery but hasn’t approved him for gastric bypass surgery.

    Steven Assanti shared the following Facebook post on November 5, 2017.  He explains that he is back in the hospital because he was suffering chest pains.  Sadly, he has two blood clots in his leg.  Obese people run a higher risk of dangerous blood clots that can cause heart attacks.

    Unlike Steven, Justin Assanti doesn’t share updates about his weight loss.  Justin seems to be doing well.  He’s focused on his small business, Hobby Haven and markets the company via Facebook on a regular basis.  He recently shared the following post, exposing someone for fat shaming:

No, he isn’t but if he doesn’t do something about his health, he could end up dying.  In Justin’s episode of My 600 lb Life we see brothers, Steven and Justin Assanti.  Together, they weigh nearly 1,400 pounds.  Steven is manipulative and greedy.  He weighs almost 800 pounds while Justin weighs 600 pounds. Did My 600 lb Life save their lives by helping them lose weight?
     

    Steven and Justin’s episode of My 600 lb Life is shocking because of Steven’s attitude.  While they are in a RV on the way to Houston to meet Dr. Now, Steven calls his father countless times, telling him he better get him some food, “or else!” His dad always gives in, enabling Steven’s actions.
     
     
    Steven and Justin reveal that they were abused when they were younger.  Their father left their mother because she was an alcoholic.  Their mother’s boyfriend used to beat Steven and Justin.  Steven explains that he found comfort in food.  Their mother would leave food out for them while she was gone.  It’s important to feed your children but it’s also important to monitor how much they eat.

    Steven And Justin Assanti – My 600 lb Life Where Are They Now?

    Steven and Justin Assanti recently appeared on My 600 lb Life Where Are They Now? It’s difficult to believe that the Assanti brothers are related because they’re so different.  Steven is a master manipulator who gets upset when he doesn’t get his way.  Justin has a calm, laid back personality and enjoys spending time with his dad.

    Sadly, Steven Assanti isn’t doing well.  He’s addicted to Vicodin and Dr. Nowzaradan is getting frustrated with him.  Steven calls an ambulance to take him to the hospital.  He’s trying to get Vicodin but Dr. Now is at the hospital when he arrives.  Dr. Now tells Steven that he’s not getting any pain medication.

     

    Steven threatens to call the news but Dr. Now doesn’t care.  Dr. Now tells Steven that the ambulance isn’t authorized to take him home so Steven has to get a cab.  The first cab isn’t large enough so Steven has to wait for another vehicle.

    Steven is trying to exercise at least two times a day.  He no longer has his pain medication so he relies on food to make himself feel good.  Dr. Now is disappointed after he weighs Steven.  The last time he visited the doctor he lost 73 pounds but this time he gained 57 pounds.  Steven blames his weight gain on the pizza he’s eating and the soda he’s drinking.
     
    Dr. Now is no longer being nice and tells Steven that he’s failing by design.  The doctor says Steven is his most dysfunctional patient ever and doesn’t think he’ll be alive in 6 months.  Dr. Now tells Steven to take a shower because his smell hasn’t improved.  Steven is too big to survive gastric bypass surgery so he’s having gastric sleeve surgery.

    Unlike Steven, Justin Assanti is doing great.  He lives in Cranston, RI where he recently started working out at home. He has cut out all snacks and he’s only eating 3 meals per day.  He needs to weigh around 500 pounds to be approved for weight loss surgery.
     

    Justin is running Hobby Haven, the hobby shop he founded so it’s difficult for him to find free time for appointments with Dr. Nowzaradan.  Justin gets upset when he finds out that Steven has been approved for surgery.  Justin wanted to get surgery first and doesn’t think Steven deserves it.

    After Justin finds out that Steven is having surgery he agrees to travel to Houston with his dad but he’s not happy.  Justin locks himself in his room and refuses to speak to his father.  He isn’t even leaving the house to run his store.  When Justin’s father finally speaks to him, he tells him to find a new place to live and wishes him good luck surviving in the snow.

    Evelyn Lozada, French Montana – Officially Dating

    French Montana and Evelyn Lozada are officially dating.  They were seen together in Las Vegas celebrating the New Year at Sin City.  French performed at the Marquee Nightclub.  Can the rapper handle a cougar like Ms. Lozada? Evelyn was born on December 10, 1975 and is currently 42.  French was born on November 9 and is 33.

    Evelyn Lozada is a Sagittarius and French Montana is a Scorpio.  Sagittarius-born will say anything on their mind and they don’t care if they offend others.  Lozada has definitely proven that she doesn’t bite her tongue on several occasions.  Sagittarius is extrovert with a great sense of humor.  Evelyn is hilarious and loves meeting new people.

    Scorpio-born are resourceful and passionate.  French’s passion for music is the reason why he’s a successful rapper.  In 2003, he was shot in the head.  In the video below, French explains that the person who shot him is dead.  He says that he beat the homicide case proving that he was resourceful enough to hire a great lawyer.

    Scorpio-born are violent and distrusting.  French has been involved in numerous violent incidents throughout his career.  We’ll see if Evelyn can keep her new bae out of trouble.

    Scroll to the video below to hear Dave Chappelle’s joke about Draymond Green.  In the comedian’s Netflix special Equanimity he says that “Draymond Green” is one of the blackest names he’s ever heard.  Chappelle explains that when you enter “Draymond Green” into Airbnb, it will log off automatically.

    Over the last few years, Green and Kyrie Irving have been discussing their belief that the world is flat.  In the video at the end of this article, Chappelle calls out people who believe the theory and explains that if you fly in one direction you’ll come back around.

    Dave Chappelle loves basketball as proven by his Prince skits on Chappelle’s Show.  The comedian has been spotted at numerous games including the 2017 Eastern Conference finals.  The Cleveland Cavaliers played the Boston Celtics and the NBA’s social media team shared the following tweet:

    In the video below, Dave also discusses doing comedy with LeBron James.  Some of the Cavaliers went to see Dave perform and LeBron got on stage with him and did a few jokes.  Chappelle doesn’t allow cellphones at his shows explaining a video of their bit can’t be found online.

    Dave Chappelle – Rachel Dolezal

    In Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix special, Equanimity he makes a joke about Rachel Dolezal.  Scroll to the video at the end of this article to hear the joke.  Chappelle refers to Rachel as the white black person that’s always in the news.  Dolezal was president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington from 2014 to 2015.  She resigned after she was exposed for lying about being black.

    This isn’t the first time Chappelle has made fun of Dolezal.  A week after she was outed by her parents as a white woman pretending to be black, Dave mentioned her during his Duke Ellington School of Arts commencement speech.  Dave graduated from Duke Ellington in 1991 and then moved to New York City to pursue his dream to become a comedian.

    In the joke, Chappelle explains that Rachel transformed herself to a black person and then climbed the ranks of blackness.  After mentioning Dolezal during the 2015 commencement speech, Chappelle explained that he would wait a few a while before including her in his routine.

    Dave knew a lot of comedians would add Dolezal to their routines and he figured her response to their jokes would provide him with more material.

    Janice Freeman Reveals Miley Cyrus Paid Her Rent

    Janice Freeman says Miley Cyrus help her by paying her deposit and 6 months of her rent.  Freeman was on Team Miley on season 13 of The Voice.  The talented singer was eliminated on week 2 of the live shows.  In the Instagram video below, Freeman thanks Cyrus for her kindness and explains that she put her family in a 2 bedroom apartment.

    Miley has a friend forever.  Freeman explains that Miley is her dawg and says she will defend her until the very end.  Cyrus reminds us that we rise by lifting others.  She understands that a kind gesture can change someone’s life.  Janice can now focus on her singing career and no longer has to worry about housing.

    “Nothing ends for us tonight …. it BEGINS!”

    After Freeman was eliminated Miley continued to support her.  She revealed her plans to give Janice a record deal and explained that their relationship wouldn’t end on the night she was eliminated from The Voice.

    Janice Freeman has been through ups and downs throughout her life and she keeps on pushing.  She beat cancer and currently struggles with symptoms of Lupus. She reminds us that when life gets tough we have to get tougher.  You have to fight through the bad days to earn the best days of your life.

    Is Hoda Kotb’s Baby Black? – Ethnicity, Race

    Hoda Kotb from the ‘Today Show’ has adopted a baby girl. She announced the news of adopting the adorable little baby on Tuesday during the show. They showed pictures of her holding little baby Haley.

    According to Hoda Kotb, baby Haley was born on Valentine’s Day.  Hoda calls Haley her Valentine’s baby! However, everyone is wondering if the baby is black.

    Hoda herself is Egyptian and although she has not stated the baby’s ethnicity or race, in the pictures of Hoda holding baby Haley, the baby appears to be either black or of mixed race. However, no one can assume without any proof and that is something we don’t have yet.

    Did Hoda Kotb Get Married?

    According to Closer Weekly, Hoda Kotb and her partner since 2013, Joel Shiffman, are not married yet. However, Hoda said that as soon as she adopted the baby she has now, she plans on marrying Joel. They plan to have a wedding this coming summer.

    How Old is Hoda from the ‘Today Show?’

    Some people may think Hoda Kotb is a little too old to be taking care of a small baby. Hoda is 52-years-old and age is just a number to many people. Her boyfriend is 58-years-old. They both may seem like they are too old to have a newborn baby, but age is only a number and what you make of it.

    Hoda Kotb has been named co-anchor of ‘Today.’ She has been behind the anchor desk of the show since Matt Lauer was fired in November of 2017.  Kotb will co-anchor the show alongside Savannah Guthrie.  This will be the first time two women will be the main hosts of the show.  Guthrie says NBC made a great decision.
