On Love and Hip Hop, we see Snoop host a party to celebrate the release of her new sneakers. The actress and rapper has come a long way and I’m proud of her.
Season 7 of Love and Hip Hop showed Snoop’s relationship with J. Adrienne. They couldn’t get along because J. Adrienne has jealousy issues so Snoop had to get rid of her. Now Snoop is making money moves. Her collaboration with Patrick Ewing reminds us that she changed the game with her portrayal of Snoop on The Wire.

Last season, we saw Snoop launch her Gorgeous Gangsta record label and now she has her own shoes. Like Snoop, former NBA star, Patrick Ewing is making major moves. He was recently named the new head coach of the Georgetown Hoyas. Ewing played for the Hoyas from 1981 to 1985. In 1984, he led the Hoyas to the NCAA Tournament title.

They say the sins of the father fall on the child and that’s exactly what’s happening to Tariq. Whether you approve of Ghost’s decisions or not, he is a liar, a drug dealer and a murderer. Tariq is paying for Ghost’s decisions in numerous ways. Raina would still be alive if Ghost lived a life of honesty. In the season 4 finale, “You Can’t Fix This” Tariq shoots and kills Ray Ray, becoming a murderer, just like his father.

Dave Chappelle’s Iceberg Slim joke is breaking the Internet. Iceberg Slim was a pimp and author who was born Robert Maupin aka Robert Beck on August 4, 1918 in Chicago. He passed away on April 28, 1992. Chappelle uses Iceberg Slim’s 1967 book Pimp to explain why he left his hit series, Chappelle’s Show in 2005.

Matthew Riehl is the Denver, Colorado shooting suspect who shot 5 law enforcement officers and killed one of them: 29-year-old Zackari Parrish. Riehl was born on September 9, 1980 and was 37-years-old. He was shot dead by officers. The Douglas County Sheriff reports that Matthew opened fire at an apartment complex in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Officers were first called to Riehl’s apartment complex at 3 AM. Someone reported a verbal disturbance and when officers arrived a man in Matthew’s apartment explained that Matthew was having a mental breakdown. Officers left after 45 minutes and they were called back to the complex a few hours later.

When officers returned to the apartment they spoke with Riehl for about 30 minutes and then he barricaded himself in a bedroom and started shooting. One deputy was killed and four were injured.

Chick-fil-A in Colorado opened on Sunday to feed police
The Chick-fil-A located at 8515 Park Meadows Center Dr., Lone Tree, CO 80124 opened on Sunday to feed law enforcement after the incident. The restaurant provided 400 sandwiches to first responders.
Last year, a Chick-fil-A in Orlando opened on a Sunday to help after the mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub.
