Sharon Reed Vs. Kathy Rae – Atlanta Mayoral Race

The video above shows news anchor Sharon Reed responding to a racist email she received from a woman named Kathy Rae.  The Atlanta mayoral race had people very feisty.  Keisha Lance Bottoms defeated Mary Norwood by about 800 votes.  Kathy’s email said “You need to be fired for the race baiting comment you made tonight.  It’s o.k. for blacks to discuss certain subjects but not whites.”

The email continues, “Really??? You are what I call a N***r not a black person.  You are a racist N***r.  you are what’s wrong with the world.” Reed dropped a N bomb on air when she clapped back at Kathy Rae.  Reed explains that Kathy misunderstood what she said.

Norwood appeared to lead most of the night but around 11 PM a large amount of new votes appeared.

Norwood would have been Atlanta’s first white mayor since 1973.  The video above proves that we still have a substantial amount of work to do regarding race in America.  We discuss potential wars with other countries but we’re in a war with each other.

The video above is negative but it must be shared to help stop racism.  If you see something, say something.  You have to step in if you see racism occurring and expose it in the safest way possible.
