Hill walked into the school with an AK-47 and 500 rounds of ammunition.  He got the gun from a friend’s house and took a picture of himself with it before leaving for the school.  Hill had enough ammunition to kill hundreds of people.  Luckily Antoinette didn’t panic and was able to convince Hill to surrender to the police.

President Barack Obama Thanks Antoinette Tuff

Antoinette is a hero.  She kept Hill engaged by telling him about her life, preventing a school shooting.  Former president Barack Obama called Antoinette to thank her for her bravery.  The nation was still healing from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting so Hill’s actions weren’t taken for granted.
