Labor is intense. Giraffes are in labor for 4 hours after
being pregnant for 15 months. That’s one of the longest pregnancies in nature. One day after a baby giraffe is born it has the ability to run. In the wild, only the strong survive. We’re glad April and her baby will be safe.
