AR-AB Arrested, Philly Rapper Abdul Ibrahim West

Philadephia rapper AR-AB, real name Abdul West has been indicted on federal drug charges.  VladTV reports that the rapper and 8 others were charged with numerous crimes including conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack.

In the tweet above links to a statement from the Department of Justice.  The document explains that nine members of a drug trafficking organization in North Philadelphia have been charged.  The following names and nicknames are listed:

AR-AB Charges

AR-AB and his co-conspirators were charged with numerous crimes.  The most serious charges include conspiracy to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine and 280 grams or more of crack.  The following list includes all the drug organization’s charges along with a list of individual charges:

  • Conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine
  • Conspiracy to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin

Individual Charges:

  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
  • Possession with intent to distribute crack
  • Possession with intent to distribute heroin
  • Distribution of methamphetamine
  • Unlawful possession of a firearm

AR-AB is a member of Original Block Hustlaz and is currently 26-years-old.  In 2015, he made headlines for beefing with Meek Mill.  Abdul shared the following tweet to show his support for Drake during the Toronto rapper’s feud with Meek:

In 2016, AR-AB and Meek Mill squashed their beef.  Earlier this year, West released his Protocol Vol. 4 mixtape.
