Arthur Williams is the Baltimore police officer that was suspended for beating Dashawn McGrier. The video at the end of this article shows McGrier beat Williams up, leaving him in a pool of his own blood.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Williams was suspended on Saturday after the video went viral. Williams touches McGrier and McGrier slaps his hand away. Splinter explains that Williams is seen landing a fury of punches to McGrier’s face.

The incident occurred on Saturday on East Monument and North Rose Street. Dashawn McGrier’s lawyer, Warren Brown revealed that McGrier can’t feel one of his legs and he suffered a broken nose, ribs and jaw.
The tweet below explains that Williams was hired in 2017 and worked for the Eastern District. He will most likely be fired from the police department.
