Azealia Banks is still banned from Twitter so she used her Instagram and Facebook accounts to congratulate Donald Trump on winning the United States presidential election.  Similar to Trump, Azealia is from New York City.  Banks actually turned on Donald after the Billy Bush tapes were released.

In the Instagram and Facebook post below, Azealia Banks apologizes for turning on Trump.  If you’re familiar with Azealia, then you know she didn’t stop there.  The Facebook post below shows her mocking Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Hillary Clinton.  Similar to Trump, Banks knows the benefits of the shock factor.

Shock advertising is when a celebrity, or politician, deliberately offends the public to create buzz.  The tactic was definitely effective for Donald Trump.  His willingness to say anything throughout his campaign, kept him on the public’s radar.

While numerous celebrities responded to the election results, Azealia’s response earned headlines because it was the most shocking.  While she’s ruining her legacy, she’s enjoying the short-term benefits of being ignorant.  Considering Donald Trump’s success, Banks might be smarter than we think.

First off, I would like to apologize to Donald Trump for all the stupid jokes I made. (I was kidding). secondly, I would like to apologize for all the other times I was dumb enough to let the liberal media sway my opinion of you. Thirdly I’m fucking proud as FUCK of you. One for being a gemini, two for being from NYC, three for winning the presidency and four for beating the media. The last part is your biggest victory in my eyes and I must say that I am TRULY inspired by this and feel deep amounts of vindication. Thanks for letting me know that I’m not crazy (even though I fronted a few times) liberals run hollywood and it’s been a COLD WORLD OUT HERE FOR ME AS A TRUMP SUPPORTER 😹. Best of luck on everything and thanks again. Sincerely – AB #TRUMP2017

In the Facebook post below, Banks calls out Jay-Z and Beyoncé for support Hillary Clinton:

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump responded to the singer.  What do you think about her comments?
