Singer Becky G, whose real name is Rebbeca Marie Gomez, has been working hard lately.  Entertainment Weekly reports that the 19-year-old will play The Yellow Ranger, Trini, in the Power Rangers movie.  The film is scheduled to release on March 24, 2017.  Coming Soon explains that the musician previously appeared in two episodes of Empire.

Billboard reports that the California-native recently released her first all-Spanish song called “Sola.” She’s working on her first Spanish album thanks to Colombian reggaeton singer, J. Balvin.  Gomez went on tour with Balvin and was inspired by the way that fans reacted to his music.
