Ciara Martinez and her boyfriend, Daquan Wheeler were arrested in connection to the murder of Lisa Marie Velazquez. ABC reports that pieces of Velazquez’s body were found in plastic bags in multiple areas throughout the Bronx. Velazquez was 25, Martinez is 30 and Wheeler is 31.
Ciara Martinez And Daquan Wheeler Are Facing Multiple Charges
Refinery29 explains that Wheeler is facing charges of murder, manslaughter, concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence and criminal possession of a weapon. Martinez is facing charges of criminal facilitation, hindering prosecution, concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy.
Velazquez Tried To Break Up A Fight Between Ciara And Daquan
Lisa aunt, Jacqueline Perez explains that she saw Lisa rush into her grandmother’s apartment to grab her bag. Lisa explained that she had to go help her friend who was in danger.
It’s believed that Velazquez attempted to break up a fight between Ciara and Daquan. Sadly, Lisa was unsuccessful. Daquan hit Lisa in the head with a hammer.
