Hip-hop legend, Craig Mack has passed away at the age of 46.  He is survived by his wife, Roxanne and his two kids.  On Monday, March 13, 2018, Mack died of heart failure.

Craig Mack Was One Of Diddy’s First Artists

Mack played a major role in Diddy’s success thanks to his 1994 hit “Flava In Ya Ear.” After Diddy was fired from Uptown Records, he launched Bad Boy Entertainment.  He took The Notorious B.I.G. with him to Bad Boy and Craig Mack was one of the first artists he signed.

In the Instagram post below, Funkmaster Flex sends Craig Mack some love.  Mack is with Biggie in the pic and in the caption, Flex mentions Alvin Toney, the producer of Mack’s 1994 album Project: Funk da World and his remix to Get Down.

Craig Mack Declined To Appear On The Bad Boy Reunion Tour Because Of His Religious Beliefs

DJ Scratch shared the following post, explaining that Mack recently reached out to him regarding a documentary about his life.  Mack was one of the only former Bad Boy artists who we didn’t see on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour.  He declined to appear on the tour because of his religious beliefs.
