DeAndre Jordan and his baby mama, Ashley Rose, are in a custody battle over his son. On Friday, December 9, 2016, DeAndre left court in a very good mood. The Los Angeles Clippers superstar was awarded joint custody of his 1-year-old son. Rose is determined to keep sole and physical custody of the couple’s son.
The NBA star is pushing for overnight visits with his son. In the past, overnight visits were not recommended were children as young as DeAndre’s son. More recent research proves that infants who spend overnights with their non-custodial caregivers experience no problems later in life. DeAndre used research like this to argue that he should be an active parent in his son’s life.

The bad blood between DeAndre and his baby mama could stem from the paternity test DeAndre requested after Ashley revealed that she was pregnant. When you have a girlfriend and you request a paternity test, you’re typically telling your girlfriend that “she’s lying.”
