Easy Street Lyrics The Walking Dead Song

The Walking Dead brought back the best worst song of all-time: “Easy Street.” The last time we heard it was episode 3 of season 7, “The Cell.” Scroll to the end of this article to take a quiz to determine how well you know the song’s lyrics.  If you couldn’t get the song out your head the first time, prepare for round 2!

In episode 7 of The Walking Dead season 11, “Hostiles and Calamities” we see Eugene turn on the music player and hear “Easy Street.” Unlike Daryl, Eugene loves the catchy song.

Easy Street lyrics are provided in this post.  The Walking Dead song was played over and over to Daryl.  The third episode of The Walking Dead‘s seventh season, “The Cell” featured Daryl Dixon as Negan’s prisoner.  Dixon’s being held at the Saviors’ Sanctuary and he can’t think or sleep because the song, “Easy Street” by The Collapsable Hearts Club keeps playing.

Easy Street

We’re on easy street
And it feels so sweet
Cause the world is but a treat
When you’re on easy street
And we’re breaking out the good champagne
We’re sitting pretty on the gravy train
And when we sing every sweet refrain repeats
Right here on easy street
It’s our moment in the sun
And it’s only just begun
It’s time to have a little fun
We’re inviting you to come and see why you should be
On easy street
Yea we got a front row seat
O, to a life that can’t be beat
Right here on easy street

It’s our moment in the sun
And it’s only just begun
It’s time to have a little fun
And we’re inviting you to come and see why you should be
On easy street
Yea we got a front row seat
O, to a life that can’t be beat
Right here on easy street

Cause the world is but a treat
When you’re on easy street

Cause the world is but a treat
When you’re on easy street
