Congratulations are in order for Empire’s own Trai Byers (Andre) and Grace Gealey (Anika “Boo Boo Kitty”)! Trai Byers and Grace Gealey got married last week in a private ceremony on the Cayman Islands. Gealey and Byers confirmed the reports in a joyous Instagram photo of the happy newly wed couple posted to both their respective accounts on Sunday.

According to TMZ, only about 50 friends and family were in attendance during the very private island wedding — and none of the Empire co-stars were there. Guests who were there dined on steak and lobster during the reception, reported TMZ.
Byers and Gealey revealed their relationship and engagement last summer. Since then, they’ve been more public about their love, posting sweet IG photos together.
