If your Facebook Messenger app keeps crashing on iOS 11 you can stop resetting your phone. It’s not you, it’s Facebook and Apple. The companies are working hard to fix the glitch. Expect an update from both companies very soon. I didn’t realize how much I relied on Facebook Messenger until the app started crashing.
Right now, Facebook’s tech issues are the least of its problems. Investigators have been looking into the company’s advertisement system because Russia misused it to manipulate the presidential election. Facebook has more influence than it may think and with influence comes responsibility.

Social media cannot be controlled. The fake news problem is getting more serious and there’s nothing that can be done about it.

This is why I enjoy Facebook Messenger more than Facebook. Unlike Facebook, I have control over the content I consume on Messenger. I only receive messages from friends and they never send me any fake news.
