Fredo Santana has passed away at the age of 27. The rapper, whose real name is Derrick Coleman was rushed to the hospital on Friday, January 19, 2018. In 2017, lean almost killed Fredo Santana
Lean is killing hip hop. I’m still trying to get over Lil Peep’s accidental Xanax overdose and I wake up to this news. In October of 2017, Santana revealed that he was hospitalized for liver and kidney failure. He explained that he has PTSD and he was using the drug to try to run away from his demons.

Lil Wayne, the man responsible for Drake’s success, is also addicted to lean. Like Fredo Santana, Wayne has suffered multiple seizures. Last year, Santana revealed that rapper, Gino Marley found him having a seizure on the floor. Fredo was bleeding out of his mouth. While many rappers are in denial about their drug addiction, Fredo was honest with his fans and was thinking about going to rehab.
