TMZ reports that singer Iggy Azalea is being sued by American Express for $300,000.  Her limit is $250,000 but Amex let her charge $50,000 more than that.  The company is no longer being patient with the singer.  They want their money.  Last year, Azalea broke up with Nick Young after finding out that the NBA player cheated on her.

Iggy has earned a net worth of $9 million and she has only been active for about 6 years.  I’m happy that she was able to move on after her horrible relationship with Nick Young.  Shortly after they broke up, Nick’s baby mother announced that she was pregnant again.  Nick was obviously cheating on Iggy with multiple women.

Iggy got T.I. to help her on her debut album, The New Classic.  She signed with Grand Hustle Records after a record deal with Interscope fell through.  Azalea put in hard work in the studio and on tour but her debut album kept getting delayed.  The New Classic finally released on April 21, 2014.

Iggy announced plans for The New Classic in 2011 and the album didn’t release until 3 years later.  Azalea’s entire career has been a huge delay.

Def Jam recently pumped the brakes on Iggy’s sophomore album, Digital Distortion.  The company’s CEO, Steve Bartels told the singer that he’s not releasing anymore of her singles.
