Is Brittney Griner A Transgender?

ESPN reports that Brittney Yevette Griner and the U.S. women’s basketball team defeated China 105-62 on Sunday.  The women haven’t met a team in Rio that can keep up with them.  They’ve blown every team they’ve played out by about 40 points each.  The team had more than 40 assists against China, proving that they fully understand the importance of team basketball.

According to 12 News Griner had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.  The team shot 62 percent, proving that they have been working hard in Rio.  Some teams play down to their competition yet the women’s national team has done the exact opposite.

Similar to Olympian Michael Phelps, there have been numerous rumors being spread about the 6 foot 9 inch center.  The latest rumor suggests that she’s a transgender.  The story is false.  Brittney Griner was born a female and is still a female.  She is not transgender.

The Houston native has tough skin and doesn’t care what haters say about her.  This past Father’s Day, people thought it would be funny to wish her a Happy Father’s Day, implying that she was a man.  Although she responded to some of the tweets, she has never allowed people’s opinions to negatively impact her life.  Remember, whoever is trying to bring you down is already below you.
