Runner’s World reports that Galen Rupp won a bronze medal thanks to his 2:10:05 performance in Rio. Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya won the gold medal while Ethiopian’s Feyisa Lilesa was the silver medalist. Rupp’s medal collection continues to grow. In the 2012 Olympics he won the silver medal in the men’s 10,000 meters.
According to Team USA he doesn’t have any marathon experience yet Galen was able to endure the 26.2 mile race. Similar to other successful Olympians, including Jessica Javelet and Johnny Weir the Oregon native has been the victim of transgender rumors.
Galen Rupp Transgender |
Rupp was born male and is still male. He is not transgender. You know that you are doing something right when you have critics. When people are willing to take the time to throw shade your way, it means that you have been able to move them. Whether they have chosen to say something positive or negative about you truly doesn’t matter because everyone is entitled to their opinion.
The nation’s largest companies are paying massive amounts of money to force people to pay them attention. You outperform those companies when you’re able to successfully grasp someone’s attention. When there are critics talking about you, encourage then to continue because they’re increasing you market value. Keep up the great work Galen!
