Is Zena Foster black? The actress is mixed. Her mother is white and her father is black.
Zena and Tank appeared on the cover of Black Bride magazine. The decision left many confused because Zena doesn’t look mixed. Black Bride posted the pic on Instagram and social media users questioned the company’s decision to put Foster on the cover. Zena clapped back:
Black Bride‘s “About” page explains that they are “dedicated to serving women of color in an underrepresented bridal market.” Although Zena is light, she is multi-racial therefore she’s a “women of color.”
