Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones aka Mel Matrix was one of the four associates indicted with 6IX9INE.  Mel was previously a member of the Jim Jones’ ByrdGang and he appeared on several tracks on the group’s 2008 project M.O.B.: The Album.

Kifano “Shotti” Jordan aka Treyway, Jensel “Ish” Butler and Faheem “Crippy” Walter were the other Nine Trey Gangsters indicted alongside Tekashi 69 and Mel Murda.

The following tweet explains that the entire ByrdGang is either dead or in jail.  Stack Bundles was shot to death in 2007, Max B is in jail until 2025 and Jim Jones is currently facing five felony charges for drugs and guns.

Treyway mentions Jim Jones and reminds the world that Treyway didn’t start yesterday: “Treyway is our way of life.” Jordan is telling the truth about Treyway being around for years but that isn’t a good thing.  The FEDS have been building their case on the gang since 2013 and each of the four associates is facing murder, robbery and drug charges.
