Jeffrey “JT” White and Malik Williams appear on season 1 of Love and Hip Hop Miami.  In episode 3, “Hey Stranger” we find out that Jeffrey is dating Bobby Lytes, Trina’s cousin.  Jeffrey was in the closet when he met Bobby but now he’s openly gay.  Malik Williams also spent years in the closet and he thinks he’s finally ready to come out.

Malik pretends to be in a relationship with DJ Michelle Pooch because he doesn’t want people to know he’s gay.  He explains that coming out could be bad for business.  I thought Miami was a place where gay men didn’t have to worry about being judged but Love and Hip Hop Miami is revealing the truth.

Jeffrey knew Malik before he met Bobby.  Jeffrey and Malik’s relationship was getting serious and Malik got scared so they broke up.  Bobby finds out about Jeffrey and Malik and gets upset.

Jeffrey “JT” Money is the son of rapper, JT Money.  In 1999, JT Money released his hit song “Who Dat” which was named Top Rap Single at the Billboard Music Awards.

“Who Dat” was a classic but many consider JT Money a one-hit wonder.  Jeffrey was born in his father’s hometown, Miami but grew up in Atlanta.  He attended Morehouse but dropped out to pursue a career as a men’s swimwear designer.
Jeffrey is supporting Malik’s music career.  He shared the following post to help Malik promote his new single “Only One”:

Malik Williams hosts some of the 305’s most exclusive events.  He also promotes multiple fashion and lifestyle brands.  I feel sorry for Bobby.  Although him and Jeffrey have been dating for over a year, Jeffrey and Malik have history.
Unlike Gunplay’s situation with his girlfriend, Keyara Stone and Miami Tip, Bobby isn’t interested in Malik, he just wants Jeffrey.
