Kevin Narvaez appears in the first season of Beauty Bar. His Instagram name is @thebeatofnyc. In episode 2 of the series, “Messy Besties” we see Kevin’s 25th birthday party get ruined by Vee and Princess. Narvaez has more serious issues on his mind like speaking to his mother. He hasn’t spoken to multiple members of his family for years because he’s openly gay.
Kevin and Thalia are close because Thalia has similar issues with her mother. Kevin is Puerto Rican and he’s one of House Of Dolls’ most talented make-up artists. He uses social media to market himself and currently has more than 30,000 Instagram followers.

Kevin had a difficult upbringing. His family is religious and refused to accept his lifestyle. Kevin refused to change and ended up spending time in foster homes and he has even been homeless.
VH1 has taken a strong stance against homophobia. In Love and Hip Hop we recently saw Jonathan Fernandez speak out against conversion therapy. Reality stars like Kevin and Jonathan show that progress is being made but more work still needs to be done.
