Lil Mo was fired for defending Chrisette Michele

Lil Mo’s relationship with Chrisette Michele recently had an impact on Mo’s finances.  Earlier this year, Lil Mo was fired from her hosting gig at 93.9 WKYS after standing up for Michele.  Mo worked at the station for one year.  She defended Michele’s decision to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration ball on January 20, 2017.

Spike Lee had planned to use Michele’s “Black Girl Magic” track in his Netflix series, She’s Gotta Have It but changed his mind after Michele’s decision to perform at the ball.  In the following Instagram post, Mo reveals that she wants to fight Spike over the incident.  It’s safe to safe that he won’t be working with the singer anytime soon.

Karl Dargan knocked out by Tony Luis

In 2015, Karl Dargan got upset by Tony Luis.  Dargan was undefeated but Luis came to fight.  Luis knocked Dargan out in the third round but the ref ruled it a slip.  Karl suffered serious eye injuries and was knocked out in round 10.  Dargan hasn’t boxed since but he’s looking forward to a big return.
