NeNe Leakes’ friend, Mynique Smith made an appearance on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s fourth episode of season 10, “All White Never Forget Showdown.” NeNe is having a “Girls And Gays” party so she invites “Monique” over to discuss it. NeNe also invites her new gay friend, Brandon to her house to discuss the party.
Mynique Divorces Chuck Smith
Earlier this year, Mynique filed for divorce from her husband, former NFL player, Chuck Smith. The former couple appeared on season 6 of Real Housewives of Atlanta and Chuck revealed that he dated Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks before he got married to Mynique. That wouldn’t be an issue if he would have told Mynique before their appearance on the series.

Chuck and NeNe met decades ago. They were both raised in Athens. Chuck got too excited when he appeared on the series, spilling all his tea about his past relationships with Phaedra and Kandi. He referred to the ladies as members of his “team.” That explains why Mynique filed for divorce.

NeNe is not Chuck and Mynique’s only #RHOA connection. Chuck and Sheree’s ex-husband, Bob Whitfield were teammates when they both played for the Atlanta Falcons. Mynique actually met NeNe through Sheree but Sheree and Mynique are no longer friends. When Sheree would bring NeNe to Falcons games she would refer to NeNe as her “hood friend.”
