Nikki Webster weighed more than 640 pounds when we first met her on My 600 lb Life.  Now, she weighs 443 pounds and she’s hoping to get skin surgery.  Dr. Nowzaradan put Nikki on a diet and she started losing weight.

After her surgery, Nikki’s cravings began coming back.  She saw a therapist and had emotional conversations with her mother.

Food is no longer Nikki’s crutch

Nikki relied on food before her surgery.  Her parents installed a lift so they could send her food without her having to come downstairs.

Now, Nikki is completing tasks on her own and she’s helping her brother Chris who has cerebral palsy.

Nikki is hoping to get her own place once she loses more weight.  She wants to take her brother with her.

Nikki still has a large amount of excess skin around her stomach and she’s getting depressed about it.  She works at The Arkansas Arts Center’s Children’s Theatre where she’s contributing more since her weight loss.  She knows she’ll be able to contribute more if she gets approved for excess skin removal surgery.

Nikki says that her excess skin weighs her down and it’s very painful.  Her friend, Michael, dies and she’s unable to focus on her weight loss.  Nikki weighs 301 pounds during her last visit to Dr. Now.  I was scared the doctor wouldn’t approve her because she was one pound overweight.  Luckily, the doctor approves her.
