It looks like O.J. Simpson is almost done serving his time for kidnapping and armed robbery which occurred back in 2007. Since then, the former All-American football player has been serving time in Nevada. We all know that Simpson was famously acquitted back in the early ’90s after being charged with murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Despite the acquittal, it’s pretty much been the consensus that O.J. did in fact slaughter both of them in cold blood.

To this day, his life and case are still making headlines with the award-winning FX series, American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson and the Oscar-winning documentary OJ: Made In America. It appears that upon his release, Simpson may be capitalizing on that and heading to Hollywood.

The Jasmine Brand is reporting that O.J. Simpson’s people have reached out to Hollywood executives. The source says, “We’ve contacted a number of reality TV production companies, TV agents, and platforms where such a show could run, and the reactions range from recoiling in disgust to pouncing on the opportunity.

None of the people to whom we spoke wanted to be quoted by name, but they all say the most likely formats are documentary or interview show. The producers and agents with whom we spoke say they’re certain someone will try to recreate the TV special that was never broadcast for several reasons … years have passed.”
