Rell aka “The Guru Rellyo” is a hair stylist who works at House Of Dolls in Inwood, New York. He appears on the first season of VH1’s Beauty Bar. Rell specializes in dreadlocks. In episode 1 of the reality series, “Welcome To Inwood!” we hear Rell describe himself as the gay black sheep.

Rell And Princess Are Official BFFs
Rell isn’t the only new face at the salon. His best friend Princess is a weave-ologist at House Of Dolls. They’ve known each other for years and Princess was there for Rell after he got beat up by a group of people.
Rell was in the hospital for 2 weeks and Princess was right by his side. They now live together and Rell will do anything for her.
House Of Dolls has talented artists but the salon is also filled with drama. Rell and Princess are a dynamic duo and they’ll have to stick together.
Rell is from the DMV but he’s loving New York City. In the following Instagram post he explains that he loves the New York City Subway because it’s cheaper than the Washington, D.C. Metro.
The super trailer for the series shows that Rell and Thalia have some beef. Thalia throws a drink in Rell’s face before storming out of a restaurant.
Vee called Rell out for dancing with Kevin’s stripper at his birthday party and Princess almost got into a fight with Vee. The drama on Beauty Bar is just getting started and we’re loving it!
