Moore was born in Detroit, Michigan and went to Wayne State University. In 2007, Moore started her producing and directing career and even launched her own company called Moore Vision Media, which she started in 2008. She has one erotic thriller she produced and directed called The Confidant. She also has a DVD workout for those who want to work out and lose weight called Kenya Moore Booty Camp.
2012 is when she joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She actually replaced a long-term cast member, Sheree Whitfield. Moore is oftentimes the center of most of the drama on the show.
