RL aka Robert Lavelle Huggar is the singer on Real Housewives of Atlanta. His wife is Lena Chenier. The couple was seen on the fifth episode of the show’s ninth season, “Shade Grenade.” The show is slowly but surely trying to work RL and Lena into the cast. If RL looks familiar it’s because he was the lead singer of the R&B group Next.
It’s great seeing RL on Real Housewives of Atlanta. In 2014 he filed for bankruptcy due to late child support, credit card debt and money owed to the IRS. Money hasn’t been the only problem in RL’s life. The singer recently revealed that he attempted suicide after his ex-wife cheated on him with one of his friends.

RL was born on April 2, 1977 and is currently 39-years-old. The group Next featured him and brothers, Terry and Raphael Brown. Some of their most popular songs include “Wifey” and “Too Close.”
