Complex reports that Brooklyn rapper, Bobby Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, agreed to a plea deal offered by prosecutors, accepting a seven-year prison sentence.  Santino Broderick and Nicolas McCoy are two members of Shmurda’s GS9 (G-Stones 90’s) gang being mentioned in numerous reports.

On Friday, September 9, 2016, Shmurda’s GS9 brother, Nicolas McCoy, also agreed to seven years in prison.  McCoy goes by the nicknames “Montana Flea” and “Monty.” On December 17, 2014, when cops raided Quad Studios in Manhattan, Bobby and Nicolas nearly got away.  They left the studio but were stopped in a vehicle a few blocks away.  McCoy’s mugshot is outlined below:

Santino Broderick aka “Cueno” decided not to accept the plea deal offered to him on Friday.  His mugshot is outlined in the image above.  Unlike his fellow GS9 members, he was offered a 15-year plea deal.  He faces numerous charges including attempted murder, conspiracy and criminal use of a firearm.
On Friday, Santino was overheard discussing the deal with his lawyer.  He was very upset, explaining to his attorney that his life was over.  His lawyer, Kevin Canfield, tried to convince him that 15 years was better than 80 but Broderick decided to try his luck.  He will stand trial next week.
