Former NBA player, Shannon Brown, was arrested for firing his rifle at 2 people entering his home which was for sale. Total Pro Sports reports that Brown has been charged with aggravated assault. Brown was married to singer, Monica Arnold, from 2010 to 2019.
According to The Citizen, the man and woman who entered Brown’s home said they were looking for houses for sale when they spotted Brown’s house, located in the River Oaks subdivision off Ga. Highway 74.
As the tweet below explains, Brown’s house had a for sale sign in front of it, the gate to the property was open and the front door of Brown’s house was open. The couple claims that they made their presence known upon entering the home and someone responded, “Come in.”

According to the couple and a spokesman from the Tyrone Police Department, after the couple entered the house, they saw Brown, holding a rifle so they left. Upon leaving, the couple claims that Brown fired multiple shots in their direction.
As the tweet below explains, Brown claims that he fired the shots because he thought the couple was breaking in.
