In 1987, Knight played for the Los Angeles Rams. He was eventually cut by the team so he started working as a bodyguard for celebrities. Bobby Brown was one is his first clients. Knight fell in love with the music industry after working with Brown and seeing how much money he was making.
Suge established a publishing company and started working with Vanilla Ice. He wasn’t doing too much work instead he was bullying Vanilla Ice. He eventually convinced The D.O.C. and Dr. Dre to leave Ruthless Records and join him to form Death Row Records. In 1991 they went to work and enjoyed instant success.
